CHURCH CAMPS

Every summer GB Youth embarks on the week-long highlight of our year, Summer Youth Camp. Church Camp is a tremendous opportunity for young people to spend a week away from the cares and burdens of this world, and find time to seek God's will for their life. Camp is accentuated by games, songs, crazy skits, great preaching, and so much more. It is the best week in the life of a young person.

Next year we will once again be heading to Butler, PA to attend the Genessee Valley Baptist Camp. Cost of camp should be aroung $90 if you register by April, and anybody interested in going should contact Jeff Jones.

FELLOWSHIP

One of our goals at GB Youth is to provide a Godly atmosphere in which teens can have fun and encourage one another in the Lord. We regularly schedule outings for the teenagers to spend time with each other in good, wholesome, Godly and fun activities.

Excitement and Enjoyment are critical to a successful Christian walk and it is our mission to infuse both into our services.

Let me introduce myself and my family

My name is Jeff Jones and I have been in the Youth ministry for over 6 years now. My wife's name is Jessica and we have 3 lovely children, Madison, Natalie and Easton.

I graduated Ohio Northern University with a degree in pharmacy in 2001 and my profession is with Rite Aid pharmacies. However, my calling is to the teens of Ottawa County and spreading the gospel light throughout this community.

I would like to extend an invitation for you to join us at GB Youth and see the alternative that God has waiting for you.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

Wednesday night Bible Study is a great time for our teenagers to come out and really dive into God's Word. Many services we will split our classes to deal with specific subjects pertaining to lives our teenagers in today's world. The goal of Wednesday night Youth Group is to challenge our teenagers, from God's Word, to live righteously in this present world.

Wednesday night youth group is also about having fun and recharging our spiritual batteries. We sing, laugh, tell stories, rejoice, and encourage each other from God's Words and our personal lives. The teens in our youth group are top notch and really look forward to helping each other and encouraging one another.

GB Youth Wednesday Nights are a great time to get to know our youth group and the chance to make lasting friendship with eternal consequences. We'd really like to invite you out to join us any and every Wednesday night beginning at 7:00PM.

Also, free guitar lessons are available to anybody interested. Lessons are set up on an as-needed basis and begin at 6:15, before GB Youth at the church. Anybody interested should contact Jeff Jones.

YOUTH RALLIES

Scattered throughout the year, GB Youth will participate in various Youth Rallies. These are great ways to meet teens from other churches and have a great time in the Lord.

Youth rallies are a time to praise God, have fun, sing, shout, be a teenager and still come away challenged by God's Word
