Independent means we are not a part of any denomination. We are autonomous and completely governed by the members of the congregation as described in the Word of God.
Evangelistic means we are deeply committed to the command of Acts 1:8 to be a witness. We are aggressively seek to reach the lost.
Missionary means we are serious about Mark 16:15 and Matt. 28:19-20, which tells us to “GO” to every creature with the Gospel. Grace Baptist presently supports 34 missionaries in the United States and around the world. Missionary support is raised through a “faith promise” program. Through it, our missionaries receive more than $30,000 annually.
Fundamental means we believe in the basic fundamentals of the faith, the doctrine of the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, the blood atonement, the bodily resurrection of Christ, His visible pre-millennial return to the earth, the absolute inerrancy and infallibility of the Scripture and the use of the King’s James (1611) Bible. Grace Baptist Church will not compromise on these doctrinal positions.
Our Message:
The Bible says ... “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, ...” (I Jn. 5:13). God wants us all to know that if we are to go to Heaven, we must do it God’s way. First of all, God’s Word says we are all sinners. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23). Because we are all under the penalty of sin, our sins must be paid for! “For the wages of sin is death; ...” (Rom. 6:23). This means eternal separation from God in an eternal Hell. However, God does not want anyone to go to Hell, so He sent His only Son to die and pay the penalty for our sins. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:8) God’s love is so great that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. He offers His forgiveness and salvation freely. “... The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23). God offers Heaven as a Gift, purchased with His blood upon the cross. But like all gifts, it is not yours until you receive it. Here is how you can receive Christ. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Rom. 10:9). “... Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5). You must repent of your sins, and trust the shed blood of Jesus Christ as full payment for your sins. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:13). Will you call upon Him right now and trust Christ to be your personal Savior?
